(AP Photo)As Israel and Iran traded missiles with the conflict between the two countries intensifying over Friday night, a video verified by CNN captures the moment an Iranian missile landed near a key military facility in Tel Aviv.The missile, that escaped Israel’s Iron Dome Defence System, struck Kirya — a sensitive area in Tel Aviv that houses the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) headquarters and the Ministry of Defense.The footage, recorded by a witness from a nearby building, shows multiple interceptor projectiles being launched into the night sky. Seconds later, a missile hits the ground near Kirya, triggering a large explosion and sending plumes of smoke rising from the impact site.A subsequent video shows the aftermath where an apartment near the impact zone was seriously damaged.A second video, filmed by Reuters, captures a missile streaking through the sky before slamming into the Kirya area at around 1:35 am (local time). Explosions were heard across Tel Aviv throughout the night.Israeli forces have been engaged in repelling multiple waves of Iranian aerial strikes that began Friday night and continued into Saturday morning.
