However, it was his wife A S Khan’s ‘ghoonghat’ that grabbed eyeballs and triggered backlash on social media.In a recent podcast with ANI, Khan Sir broke the silence on the controversy, clarifying that the decision to wear the veil was entirely his wife’s. “My wife decided to wear the veil at the reception,” he said. “She said it was her childhood dream and that every girl dreams of becoming a bride with a veil. According to her, in a crowd of people, the veil gives the bride a unique identity.”“She said that since everyone would already be well-dressed at the reception, the veil would help her stand out. I told her that people might blame me for it, but she responded, ‘No, it’s my childhood dream.’ She was adamant, and eventually I said okay,” he added.When asked whether the criticism on social media affected him, Khan Sir responded, “No, we come from a village.
