I mean, the reason we do all these other events is to provide additional financial resources to the club, which in turn goes back into the team. Everything is about the team. Everything.”Venkatesham said to Levy: “I do not know how you do it. I remember, I think when you got to 20 years you might not remember this. “I remember I sent you a nice bottle of wine with a letter saying, ‘I do not know how you have done it for so long’, because it just takes everything from you. It just, you know, the energy you need to put into it. So your stamina is quite something.”Levy answered: “Failure is not an option, the desire to succeed, and because it is so difficult, I want to succeed even more.”Venkatesham replied: “My perspective is, I think you have got a very thick skin and you have got very broad shoulders, but I also see how much it affects you, because I can see how much you want to win, right? So I think sometimes there is a perspective that, because you have got a thick skin, that does not affect you, but I see it does, and I could see it in you before the Bilbao final, because I could see just how much you wanted it.”Levy: “The pressure and the disappointment of not winning over a number of years, I just wanted it so desperately, not just for me, my family, but all the fans around the world. We deserve some luck, and that last seven or so minutes was horrific. It felt like hours to win that final whistle went. That was just an amazing experience and you saw the outpouring of emotion with the parade.“You know, it was just incredible. We have won a European trophy, but it is not enough. What we have not done is more important. We need to win the league. We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League, you know, we want to win.”Thomas Frank the latest to take on Levy’s giant Spurs visionTottenham are now in a new era, following the sacking of Ange Postecoglou, after he helped them win a piece of silverware. With Thomas Frank now at the helm, it is Levy’s vision of winning the Premier League and Champions League that would now rest on the shoulders of the Danish manager.Spurs are reported to be open to investing in their squad this summer, and reports state that Frank is expected to be handed a significant budget this summer. The Lilywhites would be hoping to put the building blocks for Levy’s vision in place this transfer window, with marquee signings expected to be made by Spurs.READ MORE: Daniel Levy finally breaks silence on sacking Postecoglou – ‘I do not regret appointing Ange’The post Daniel Levy sets clear Tottenham target to win Premier League and Champions League appeared first on Spurs Web.
