The US Army has contracted HII to deliver live training solutions for the service’s Live Training, Ranges and Combat Training Centers.Costing $379 million, the award encompasses multiple orders of components that will aid the army’s warfighter preparations in real-world environments.These systems will consist of new products and equipment supporting ongoing technology refreshment, updates, research, and development efforts for older and modern live-fire ranges.Work for this project will be facilitated by HII’s Mission Technologies segment.It will be coordinated with the US Army Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation program office, which oversees assembly, sustainment, evaluations, and data of training platforms for the force.US special forces during a joint air to ground integration training exercise.
