A formal investigation has commenced into the Air India flight 171 crash in Ahmedabad, which tragically killed 241 people. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is leading the probe, with assistance from the US National Transportation Safety Board. A high-level committee will also be formed to strengthen aviation safety measures and prevent future incidents.
