Since yesterday night’s collapse of a building in Paceville, the police have cordoned off the area surrounding the collapsed building.Following the collapse, the police and Civil Protection Department officials quickly cordoned off the collapsed building and provided support for shocked bystanders. Demolition works had ended in April and no works were ongoing at the construction site at the time of collapse.The construction site’s developer is Excel Developments, owned by Joseph Portelli, Mark Agius and Daniel Refalo. Agius is listed as the project developer.The Building and Construction Authority and Occupational Health and Safety Authority, together with the police moved to evacuate residents after the architects representing residents filed a police report on Wednesday morning.This is a developing story•
