A helicopter crashed near Gaurikund in Uttarakhand. All seven people on board died. Pilot Rajveer Singh Chauhan of Jaipur was the captain. He had served in the Indian Army for over 15 years. Chauhan had extensive experience flying in various terrains. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed grief. Chauhan's family has been notified. Further details are awaited.
