Motorcyclist dies in collision along Dun Robin Public Road

A road accident along the Dun Robin, East Coast Berbice Public Road has claimed the life of a motorcyclist.Tameshwar SukhcharanThe deceased has been identified as Tameshwar Sukhcharan, 35, of Lot 678 Topoo Village, Corentyne, Berbice. He was employed as a cattle ranger at the Albion Sugar Estate.According to reports, around 6:00 hrs, Tameshwar was riding his motorcycle on his way to work in East Canje, Berbice, when he was struck by a black pickup. Eyewitnesses said the impact threw him from his motorcycle, and he landed in a nearby trench.In an interview with reporters, Tameshwar’s father, Rajesh Sukhcharan, expressed his grief, stating that he received the devastating news and rushed to the scene. By the time he arrived, his son’s body had already been transported to the New Amsterdam Public Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.The driver of the pickup involved in the incident was removed from the vehicle and taken to the hospital. However, details regarding the extent of his injuries remain unclear.Rajesh believes the pickup driver lost control of the vehicle, struck his son, and then crashed into a parked truck.Tameshwar’s father, Rajesh Sukhcharan“Me see me son motorbike damage, it na good. You can just imagine what happened to that man. That man break up.
