PSUV Announces Partial List of Mayoral Candidates for July 27 Elections

Following an extensive grassroots nomination process, Diosdado Cabello, general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), presented the preliminary list of mayoral and municipal council candidates from the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) for the upcoming July 27 elections.During a press conference Saturday, June 14, Cabello revealed 86 mayoral candidates. He announced that the remaining candidates would be disclosed in coming hours when the complete list is published on the PSUV website.“We held an open consultation last Saturday, June 7, in 47,000 communities nationwide, only possible because we have a political structure.
