Man presumed drowned after he goes missing in Metro Vancouver lake, say police

Tragedy struck in British Columbia as a 29-year-old man is presumed drowned in Cabin Lake, Cypress Provincial Park, after struggling while swimming with his fiancée. Firefighters and North Shore Rescue volunteers carried out an initial search of the lake. The police stated that the victim’s family was notified, and the investigation will be handed over to the B.C. Coroner’s Service once the body has been recovered from the lake.
