Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) successfully raised ₹200 crore through green municipal bonds, marking a significant step for urban development in India. The bond issue witnessed substantial investor interest, being oversubscribed by 5.1 times. These funds will be allocated to the 'Harit Setu' project, aimed at enhancing urban mobility through pedestrian-friendly infrastructure, cycling tracks, and improved connectivity to metro stations.
