MPs of the Mamata Benerjee-led party say that despite being the third-largest Opposition party in the Lok Sabha, it does not have an office in the national capital. According to sources in the party, the Trinamool Congress was assigned a piece of land in central Delhi but has not been able to use it as the party office “because of squatters”. Therefore, the party plans to convert the official bungalow assigned to Bhowmick as its office. An opening of the “makeshift office” is expected before the upcoming Monsoon session of Parliament, said sources.A POSTER with the message “Muskuraiye, aap PHQ mein hain (smile, you are at PHQ)”, accompanied by a smiley emoticon, has been put up on the wall of an office at the Delhi Police Headquarters. The office belongs to a Joint Commissioner-level officer and is located on the 11th floor of Tower 2.
