Jamie O’Hara has named the manager he believes Tottenham Hotspur should look to replace Ange Postecoglou with this summer.Ange Postecoglou’s future is yet to be decided, as the manager awaits a decision from the Tottenham Hotspur board, with reports stating a decision is expected to be reached this week.Postecoglou has already spoken about the prospect of season three being better than season two in movies, but there is every chance the manager could be axed even before the start of season three, with a new main character expected to come in.Ange Postecoglou has dared to do what many before failed to achieve at Spurs: winning silverware for the first time in 17 years and ending the club’s long European trophy drought that lasted for four decades. However, with the 59-year-old having led Tottenham to their worst ever Premier League season in history, Postecoglou’s fate could already have been decided, as recent reports suggest.(Credit: talkSPORT)Jamie O’Hara urges Tottenham to consider Thomas Frank as new managerSeveral names have been linked with a move to Tottenham, including Thomas Frank, Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva and Simone Inzaghi. While it has been revealed that Spurs do have a reason why they admire each of these managers, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has given his verdict on the perfect Postecoglou replacement.O’Hara believes that Tottenham should part ways with the Australian manager, with his poor league season being the reason why.The former player also believes that Spurs should be looking to get Thomas Frank in, stating that he deserves a move to a Big Six club, following his impressive stints at Brentford. He told Grosvenor Sport: “It is time for Spurs to move on from Ange Postecoglou.“He has lost 22 games in the Premier League; this season has been a shambles. “I understand that he won the Europa League, which was a monumental moment for the football club but, let us be honest, the game was terrible, the performance was not great, and Manchester United were an awful opposition. I believe Daniel Levy is genuinely thinking about getting rid of him and looking at other options.“I would be looking at Thomas Frank or Andoni Iraola. Frank has been in the Premier League a long time, he has done a great job at Brentford with a budget. Does he deserve the chance at a Big Six club? I would say he probably does.“But if you are going to go big, Levy should be looking at the likes of Xavi Hernandez or Simone Inzaghi – Inter Milan have just been embarrassed in the Champions League final. Spurs have had similar managers in the past, with Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.“There are options out there, and Spurs need to realise they are a big football club, playing in the Champions League next season, with a UEFA Super Cup to play and the opportunity to kick on next year. Is Ange the man to take them forward? I do not think so.”Tottenham poor league form puts Ange Postecoglou under pressureOf course, a club’s league season is often the best way to judge a team’s performance, as more often than not, poor teams can secure the odd cup win here and there, but bad teams never win a league title, as consistency is the key to such success.Tottenham Hotspur have been poor in the Premier League, and the questions about whether Postecoglou is the man to lead the club next season are very valid. The latest reports have stated that Spurs have held direct talks with Thomas Frank, with details about their project already discussed.Postecoglou has sent a clear message to Levy and co, hinting that he wants to continue in the Tottenham dugout. He said, “I did not want us to just enjoy the moment. I also wanted us to think about what is next, you know – do not settle for this.“We have got a taste of it now. My players have got a taste for it. The club has got a taste for it. Well, let us make sure we are back here again.”READ MORE: Tottenham coach sends clear message of next season’s target after Europa League successThe post Jamie O’Hara calls for Daniel Levy to sack Ange Postecoglou and names four possible replacements appeared first on Spurs Web.
