Andaman and Nicobar Islands are planning to develop solar power plants. The project will have a capacity of 21 MW. These plants will be grid-connected and have battery storage. The Union Territory administration will float the tender. Solar Energy Corporation of India oversaw the draft. This initiative aims to promote green energy on the islands.
