The weather was so hot, in fact, that parts of the Eiffel Tower were closed earlier this week. Walt Disney World has a few patriotic events and shows for guests to enjoy this holiday weekend, including a fireworks extravaganza at the Magic Kingdom.Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and still serves as the only Disney theme park in Europe. While the resort features classic Disney dark rides and roller coasters like Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world,” and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland Paris also offers a few unique attractions.Most notable of the bunch are Phantom Manor, Crush’s Coaster, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril.Big things are in store for Disney’s European resort. Several new rides and attractions are coming to Disneyland Paris over the next few years, including a log flume ride based on The Lion King (1994). Alongside new additions, the resort’s movie-themed park, Walt Disney Studios, is undergoing a total makeover.
