I once brought in two leftover Tri tip roasts from a business related picnic for the employees who couldn’t make it. It was a 20 minute drive each way and I even setup plates, plastic forks and knives, etc. Not a single thank you from anyone. In fact most of the people I told that is was in the break room looked confused, as if a nice gesture was not normal. Never again.
