Caleb Wiley’s concluded his loan at English second-tier side Watford on a high note and looks set to head back to Vicarage Road this season.Wiley is on the verge of rejoining Watford on loan for the 2025-26 EFL Championship campaign, Sky Sports and The Athletic reported Thursday. Wiley, who is under contract with EPL side Chelsea, is currently on break and not with the London outfit at the FIFA Club World Cup. A former Atlanta United homegrown, Wiley registered one assist in 10 appearances with Watford during the second half of last season. The 20-year-old also made six appearances with French Ligue 1 club Strasbourg after being loaned out last September by Chelsea. Wiley registered six goals and seven assists in 85 appearances for Atlanta United and has earned three caps with the USMNT. Watford parted ways with Tom Cleverley last May before hiring Paulo Pezzolano at the conclusion of the season. The Hornets finished 14th in the EFL Championship last season.
