The Special Investigation Team (SIT) police, probing into the alleged multi-crore liquor scam, produced former MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy in Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Special Court in Vijayawada on Wednesday.The court gave 14-days judicial remand to Mr. Bhaskar Reddy and the police shifted him to the jail.Police took Mr. Bhaskar Reddy into custody on Tuesday, and shifted him to Vijayawada. Investigation officers named Bhaskar Reddy as Accused No.38 in the case.SIT police so far arrested seven accused in the case so far. Earlier, the police questioned the former MLA and his follower, Venkatesh Naidu, for about three hours in SIT office, located in Vijayawada.However, Mr. Bhaskar Reddy alleged that the police foisted false case against him.“My name was not mentioned in the FIR in liquor scam.
