A separate drone launched from Iran crashed in an open area of the southern Negev after what appeared to be unsuccessful interception attempts. A third drone, en route to the southernmost city of Eilat, was downed by Israeli forces.Earlier Saturday, an Iranian drone triggered air raid sirens in the areas of Kibbutz Ein Zivan, Moshav Alonei Habashan and Kibbutz Ortal—communities located in the Israeli Golan Heights—before crashing in an open area without causing damage.Approximately an hour later, the Israeli Air Force intercepted a UAV near Moshav Ramat Magshimim, also in the Golan Heights.Around the same time, another drone launched from Iran was intercepted by the IAF after setting off sirens across the Beit She’an Valley, Samaria, Nahal Iron, aka Wadi Ara, and the Jordan Valley.Overnight Friday, Israeli air defenses intercepted some 40 Iranian drones, according to the military.Over the past eight days, Iran has launched more than 470 UAVs at Israel.The post Iranian drone strikes home in northern Israel appeared first on World Israel News.
