I know someone like this. It actually seems like there are people who are programmed to survive off of the kindness of others. The lady I am thinking of likes to lay a massive guilt trip on me until I bend. She knows I'll cave eventually. So I avoid her completely now. I don't want to be unkind, but that doesn't mean I will be taken advantage of. At least not any longer. It took me a while to realize what I was getting myself into.
