The benchmark equity indices continued to decline for the third straight day on Thursday. The NSE Nifty 50 ended 18.8 points or 0.08% lower at 24,793.25, while the BSE Sensex closed 82.79 points or 0.10% down at 81,361.87.Foreign portfolio investors continued buying Indian equities for the third consecutive session on Thursday. The FPIs net bought shares worth Rs 891 crore, according to the provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.
