Express Photo by Gurmeet SinghThe bypolls to five Assembly constituencies Thursday saw the implementation of mobile phone deposit facilities for voters and 100% webcasting of polling stations for the first time, the EC said.After the implementation of the new initiatives in the bypolls in Kadi and Visvadar in Gujarat, Nilambur in Kerala, Ludhiana West in Punjab and Kaliganj in West Bengal, the same would be rolled out in Bihar polls.“For the first time, voters were able to avail the mobile deposit facility provided by the ECI at the entrance of all polling stations.
