She also expressed optimism about further strengthening the long-standing, historic relations between West Bengal and Bangladesh, highlighting that cultural ties far outweigh economic and commercial links.This meeting marked the first courtesy call by the new Bangladesh High Commissioner to any Indian Chief Minister.
