Murdered political activist Raymond Caruana was sent a screening invite by Primary Health Care – 39 years after his assassination.“A government that doesn’t know what it’s doing. A government without respect and without shame,” Caruana’s nephew, Stefan Caruana, wrote on social media captioning a photo of the letter addressed to his uncle.Raymond Caruana was killed in December 1968 while attending a reception at the PN Gudja club. Stop hurting our family and our loved ones,” he urged.This is not the first time serious errors of this kind have raised concerns about the accuracy of government records.Last year, a Maltese woman received a social security letter for her son who died at birth 16 years before. The letter informed the late son, who would have reached working age, that he had been registered onto the Social Security system and informed him of his legal rights and obligations.•
