(AFP via Getty Images)Veteran character actor Joe Marinelli died Sunday at age 68 at his home in Burbank, California, following a long battle with stomach cancer.Marinelli was widely known for his soap opera roles, including Joseph Sorel on General Hospital and mobster Bunny Tagliatti on Santa Barbara, for which he received a Soap Opera Digest Award.His extensive career spanned over 50 credits, featuring recurring roles as Donny Spagnoli on Apple TV+'s The Morning Show and appearances on primetime shows like ER, The West Wing, and Desperate Housewives, as well as films such as Sideways.The Morning Show co-star Mark Duplass tweeted Tuesday, “We lost a great one. Joe Marinelli lived in rare air.
