I am NOT a copywriter, however a close family member is. So I'll start by saying, I know literally nothing about this industry. Like..... actual zero. However, this family member is struggling with the job market and seems discouraged after a lay off. I am trying to be proactively supportive. What would anyone recommend that I could suggest to this person to strengthen their resume or increase skill set? This person has a few years experience, maybe about 3, but is ultimately not a veteran of the industry, by my understanding. I work in a very different field that highly values academic education and certification, so I don't know if that exists in any way. Any suggestions are appreciated, but actionable and tangible advice is preferred. Thanks in advance.
