I limit my consumption of sweets for health reasons. I don’t expect anyone to bring in fresh fruit. Usually there was someone else trying to do the same. So we’d split a cookie or cupcake. And if I didn’t want or couldn’t eat it, I’d just take a pass and not make a big deal about it.
