Meanwhile, the ministry has been allotted space on the ground floor of CCS building no. 3 and will likely shift by August 15.Request DeniedA senior AGMUT-cadre IPS officer was recently transferred from Delhi to Lakshadweep. As he was overseeing a special police project, the officer requested his transfer be withheld at least until March 2026. Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora forwarded his representation to the Union Home Ministry, and, in an unusual move, also attached his own letter echoing the request.
