While the police were searching for Tejeshwar, they received a message from Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district police about a decomposed body found in a canal on June 20. It was identified as that of Tejeshwar; his throat had been slit and the body had stab wounds.The police probe revealed that Aishwarya, who hails from Kurnool, used to work at a non-banking financial institution as a helper. Police said the institution’s manager, Tirumala Rao, who is married, allegedly had an extramarital relationship with her.According to the police, Rao, who has no children, allegedly introduced Aishwarya to his wife and told her she was ready to marry him and give them children. His wife, police said, refused and warned him of the consequences, but the two allegedly continued their relationship.Aishwarya’s mother, Sujatha, meanwhile, received a proposal from Tejeshwar’s family for her daughter. After initially turning down the proposal, Aishwarya eventually agreed, police said.According to the police, Aishwarya remained in touch with Rao, and they allegedly planned to eliminate Tejeshwar and usurp his property. Rao allegedly hired three persons who had been seeking a loan from his institution for several months. He allegedly offered to pay Rs 3 lakh to kill Tejeshwar and get rid of his body.Story continues below this adThe trio posed as real estate dealers and sought Tejeshwar’s help to survey a piece of land. When he arrived, they asked him to sit in a car and allegedly attacked him from behind. They allegedly disposed of the body in a canal.Officials said that Rao and Aishwarya were allegedly planning to flee to Ladakh, but put off the plan after Tejeshwar’s body was found.
