Country: Ukraine Source: MedGlobal Kyiv, Ukraine – June 30, 2025 — MedGlobal Ukraine, in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO Ukraine), has successfully completed a nationwide series of 8 advanced Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) trainings, reaching 240 frontline healthcare professionals across Chernihiv, Kyiv, and Odesa. The sessions were provided to strengthen Ukraine’s emergency medical response in wartime conditions. The program, held throughout June 2025, was specially designed to meet the needs of physicians working in high-pressure, resource-limited, and often dangerous frontline settings. Each two-day training combined intensive hands-on learning and simulation with real-time emergency ultrasound protocols — including FAST, eFAST, RUSH, and BLUE — which are vital for managing trauma, critical care, and resuscitation.“These trainings are not just about sharing skills, they are about saving lives under fire. Every scan, every protocol learned is a tool that can make the difference between life and death in frontline hospitals,” said MedGlobal Ukraine Country Representative Oleksandra Kozlovska. This initiative is part of MedGlobal’s broader mission to strengthen healthcare capacity in crisis-affected communities. Since the full-scale invasion, MedGlobal has trained over 4,000 Ukrainian healthcare workers and delivered more than $23 million in medical aid.About MedGlobal: Established in 2017, MedGlobal is a U.S.-based non-profit organization committed to providing emergency response and health programs to communities in crisis.
