The quick-service eatery is located inside Disney’s Contemporary Resort, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, as well as snacks and desserts.According to a detailed report by WDWNT, most of the cut menu items affect Contempo Cafe’s bakery and dessert offerings. Starting with breakfast, patrons will no longer see the breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, or breakfast flatbread on the menu. The kid’s breakfast sandwich has also been removed.Moving on to lunch, the Chicago-style Italian beef sub sandwich and the Sicilian meatball sub have been removed. The Jack-Jack Cookie Num-Nums cupcake is gone, as is the DOLE Whip cupcake. The Monorail S’mores brownie, the cookie dough croissant, and the 5-legged goat tart have also been removed.Breakfast now features a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, as well as a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, and just an egg and cheese variant.For lunch, guests can grab the new barbecued pork sandwich, loaded cheese fries, buffalo chicken flatbread, vegetable flatbread, or a roast beef sub. New grab-and-go options were also added, such as the Asian chicken salad, roasted chicken salad, and Italian sub.Contempo Cafe’s bakery and dessert offerings include a new passion fruit raspberry tart and dark and milk chocolate mousse cupcake. A cinnamon sugar croissant muffin and key lime cupcake are also on the menu, as is a banana cream and caramel truffle.Disney’s Contemporary Resort opened alongside the rest of Walt Disney World in 1971, as did Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These original two hotels have become just as iconic as the resorts’ rides and attractions, serving as luxurious places to start and end the day.Both the Contemporary and Polynesian, as well as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, offer complimentary Monorail service, allowing guests to travel to and from the three hotels, EPCOT, and Magic Kingdom.Will you be stopping by the Contempo Cafe to try any of these new items?
