Lakshmisha.Participating in a walkathon, organised by the district police department on the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse in Vijayawada on Thursday, Mr. Lakshmisha said while consuming poison kills a person instantly, consuming drugs will not just destroy the life of an individual but also that of their family and society. “It is important to make Andhra Pradesh a drug-free State to realise the goal of Swarnandhra,” the Collector said. He added that public can report incidents of drug abuse to the nearest police stations or call Eagle tollfree 1972.NTR District Police Commissioner S.V. Rajasekhar Babu urged youth not to fall in the trap of drugs.
