An unidentified man was reported dead after he was run over by the Mysore-bound Shatabdi Express near Mulanur railway station on the Kuppam-Jollarpetai section, 125 km from here, on Thursday night.According to the Government Railway Police at Kuppam, the express train halted for 18 minutes at Mulanur station, following the incident and later resumed its journey. The deceased who received critical injuries was immediately shifted to the area hospital by a 108 ambulance service, but he died on the way.The deceased was believed to be a resident of Mulanur.
