I finally remembered in time for our annual summer office bbq to buy gluten free flour for our celiac coworker and made a large batch of gluten free chocolate chip cookies as well as a larger batch of gluten laden choco chip cookies. She hugged me more than once and reported later in the evening that she had eaten at least 8 of them. I tried to send her home with however many were left but she said no cause she would eat them all. They were all available for anyone and once the regular ones were gone, we did eat the gluten free ones (she had gone home already by then) and I think maybe three were left at the end of the night. I will try to remember to make more gluten free cookies next time we have a potluck at work! I do also share my secret stash of nicer plain chocolate with her since the candy dish at my desk usually has random whatever was on sale candy with gluten.
