Government Arts College here will celebrate the golden jubilee of Littcrit, a literary journal published from Thiruvananthapuram, on Thursday.Minister for Higher Education R. Bindu will inaugurate the Littcrit literary carnival at the college auditorium at 3.30 p.m. College Principal Subramaniyan S. will preside.The event will include interactions with writers and artistes. Pramod Payyannur will interact with students on ‘Dynamics of Theatre.’ Writer Sandhya Mary will speak on ‘New Age Narratives,’ T.D. Ramakrishnan and translator Priya K. Nair will speak on ‘Source and target of writing.’ A session ‘Reels of Life’ will feature film critic Louis Mathew and filmmaker Abhilash Babu. Poet S. Joseph will speak at the session ‘Defining Images’ and Sajitha Madathil and Jisha Abhinaya on ‘Women on stage.’Stand-up comedy performances, experience sharing session, literary fashion shows, exhibition, competitions, project presentations, debates and discussions, and a folk song performance will be the other highlights of the event.Published - February 26, 2025 11:42 pm IST
