Uncertainty overtariffs seems to be the cause, with a bit of backing away from risktrades.EUR,GBP, AUD, NZD, CAD, yen and CHF are all languishing against the bigdollar today.Nvidiaresults were being eyed as a market saviour, but even though the firmrecorded solid beats the share price hasn’t responded with muchgusto at all. Bitcoinremains offered around $85K, although its bounced from lows circa$82K. Oil,too, languishing. Even gold is not being its usual cheery self,taking a break from its rally around $2905 as I update.Ifthere was a data focus today it was Australian capex for Q4. Uglydata, a series of misses with few bright spots (more in the postabove). Note the scale, while the dollar was bid here today it wasn't a huge move. Just better that most anything else.
