The characters in the popular series are voiced by talents such as Holly Chou, Cal Dodd, George Buza, Jennifer Hale, Ray Chase, and many more.Brad Winderbaum says Marvel is targeting a 2026 release date for X-Men ’97 Season 2The Marvel Head of Television and Streaming recently revealed the plans for Season 2 of X-Men ’97.While many fans were expecting it to drop in 2025, Brad Winderbaum squashed all the speculations. He told Steve Weintraub from Collider, “Season 2 of X-Men ‘97 is going to be in ‘26. We’re working on it now. It’s exciting.”Additionally, Winderbaum expressed his love for X-Men ’97 and stated, “I can’t believe they let me make it. I grew up at Marvel, as you know, clocked a lot of time here, and I feel like I used a lot of currency to revive this thing that I loved watching after school.” He also emphasized how X-Men ’97’s success “opened up some opportunities on the development side” for more animated projects. Brad Winderbaum conveyed, “To me, it’s important to try to get to an annual cadence with these shows and to have something that people can rely on…So, we do have other things we’re working on, but X-Men ‘97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are the top priorities in trying to get to a place where we can reliably have very strong seasons every year.”The first season of X-Men ’97 was released on March 20, 2024. However, following its release, it was announced that Marvel had fired Season 1’s showrunner, Beau DeMayo, from the project.
