Crisil Ratings projects a capital expenditure of ₹1 lakh crore in the inter-state transmission system during 2025-26 and 2026-27 to support renewable energy evacuation. Transmission projects are expected to face execution risks but aim to enable connectivity for up to 60 GW of renewable capacity by 2026-27.
