A lot of these people in London are career hustlers. I heard about this and told a beggar he could have a couple of quid if he told me the truth about what he made. A few hours work would net him £400 or more on a Friday or Saturday. Tax free, no doubt. This was around 5 years ago. I don't give anything these days.
