The authorities report that they got a call in July last year about the shooting incident along Sparks Street SW. After reaching the scene, they discovered that three people were shot reportedly during the 14th birthday celebration of Lamon Freeman.Freeman was killed in the incident, along with another 13-year-old teen, Jakody Davis. A third young individual, who was 11 or 12 years old at the time, had sustained injuries.In the press event, Woolfolk said, “Gang violence that was orchestrated by adults. And the cowardly acts of an Atlanta-based rapper that decided to go into a rival gang stronghold in a place he knew he should not have been.” (via Billboard)Channel 2 Action News acquired arrest warrants that gave them confirmation that Woolfolk was referring to Lil Baby.Officers claim that a rival gang member called in the hit from a Georgia prison using a contraband phone. The authorities have yet to identify this person. However, they have declared a $50,000 reward for the person who can provide more information on the case.Further, Woolfolk directly addressed the rapper whose music video allegedly led to the tragic incident. “This team will work relentlessly to hold you accountable,” he said.Lil Baby, whose legal name is Dominique Jones, will release his fifth studio album, Dominique, in 2025.
