It depends. Where I grew up, most of the people in the church are well-meaning and seem to be true believers. The problems come with the people who work their own preferences and rules into the word of God. One example would be Junie Harper from King of the Hill. What my original comment was talking about is businesses who are shady, yet use the term "Christian" as a selling point to lure customers. I'm also from a place where everyone expects work to be fast, good, and cheap, and anything that costs any sort of money is assumed to be a scam. The idea of paying people what they're worth is kind of foreign to them.
