Police personnel evacuated him to safety and was taken to Marine Drive police station.The safety nets in the main Mantralaya building were set up as a precautionary measure to prevent any potential suicide attempts. To secure Mantralaya premises and tighten security, various measures are being taken including installation of face recognition system.Last year, the then deputy speaker of Legislative Assembly Narhari Zirwal along with three tribal MLAs, had jumped on the net as a mark of protest against inclusion of Dhangar community in the Scheduled Tribe category.© The Indian Express Pvt LtdTags:Mantralaya buildingMarine Drive police
