Mugabe Job came last with 129 votes. The defeat of chairman Fred Nyanzi’s son in the NUP primaries has left party diehards in shock and left the party in a very complicated situation of having to decide to support its own or pick up a stranger. Ssentamu’s defeat in the primaries comes at a time when the party loyalists are complaining of ‘strangers’ infiltrating their party for their own benefit.Makerere University students will go to the polls on March 12th to elect their 91st Guild President.
