Three Grade 3s are up for grabs today, along with the final chance for one to book their ticket for the 2025 Cheltenham Festival in the Pertemps qualifier.Get the latest horse racing promotions and odds with the best online horse racing bookmakers here.Naas 1:50 Lily & Wild At The Post Maiden Hurdle – 2m (5yo+)We open with not the strongest of maiden hurdles, and it may be best left to the Willie Mullins-trained KALIX DELABARRIERE.He was last seen finishing behind Ballybow, who has since gone on to beat Ballygunner Castle in a Grade 3 hurdle at Clonmel, and reproduction of that run should be enough to get Kalix Delabarriere off the mark today.Road To Home, who ran out last time at this track after hanging badly and ending up jumping over a rail, will be interesting if he is more professional, but it does come with risks attached now.Hello Jack ran well behind Kel Historie in December and can fill a place with expected improvement.Selection: Kalix DelabarriereDanger: Hello Jack Bet on Kalix Delabarriere with talkSPORT BET Naas 2:20 Grade 3 William Hill Top Price Guarantee Winning Fair Juvenile Hurdle – 2m (4yo)The juveniles take to the track on today’s card for the first of three Grade 3s.Good To Be Alive did well on his racecourse debut, winning by six lengths, and with the expected improvement from his first run to second, he is a big player here. But, they all may have to settle for a supporting role behind the experienced BACCHANALIAN.Already a two-time winner over hurdles and a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival, Bacchanalian has already shown enough to suggest that he will be more than capable of conceding weight all around here.Shoda was just over two lengths off Bacchanalian at Limerick in December, but the selection has since improved again, making it a tough challenge for him to turn around the form with the selection.Selection: BacchanalianDanger: Good To Be Alive Bet on Bacchanalian with Sky Bet Naas 2:50 Grade 3 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle – 2m4f (5yo+)Five runners will line up for the Grade 3 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle, and you can make a case for all five winning.Brave Fortune won well at Thurles in December (3rd has won since), and Fleur In The Park came agonising close to turning over The Yellow Clay in a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Navan before running with credit behind The Big Westerner. Both have obvious chances, but JOYSTICK is a horse that I am convinced we have yet to see the best in him.He was a decent bumper horse last season and started this season off with a fourth behind James’s Gate, Forty Coats and MaLaury at Punchestown. That form already has a good look.He has since won his maiden hurdle (2nd has won by eight lengths since) but ran no race behind Final Demand at the Dublin Racing Festival. This drop in class and the smaller field will suit Joystick much more than Leopardstown. He will relish every drop of rain that we have gotten this week, so I expect a big run from Joystick today.Selection: JoystickDanger: Fleur In The Park Bet on Joystick with Paddy Power Naas 3:20 William Hill Keep Your Raceday Positive Handicap Hurdle – 2m (4yo+)It’s a tricky handicap to sort out, but I can pay to side with KIMY.She comes here on the back of a big run at the Dublin Racing Festival, where she only found Vischino too good in a mares handicap hurdle. She is back in against the boys today, but she has the benefit of receiving weight from all but one of her rivals. If she can back up her DRF performance, then there is every chance she will go close again.Duke Of Leggagh broke his maiden tag over course and distance in a handicap hurdle, and now off a 7 lb higher mark, he can run his race once again now that he has gotten his head in front.Selection: KimyDanger: Duke Of Leggagh Bet on Kimy with Midnite Naas 3:50 Pertemps Network Group Handicap Hurdle – 2m7f (5yo+)This is the last chance for these runners to book their ticket to the 2025 Cheltenham Festival, but who will be the one who really wants it?Waittillitellyou comes here on the back of a 14-length demolition job at Navan after 325 days on the sidelines. The handicapper didn’t miss that win as he whacked him up 11 lb on the back of it.Bridies’ Beau defied a market drift to win back-to-back races for Gavin Cromwell but has been harshly hit with a 9 lb rise by the handicapper. He will have his chance again, but this may come too soon after his win last weekend. But Gavin Cromwell may still be walking away with the winner in the shape of WILL THE WISE.He has been keeping good company this season. He finished behind The Yellow Clay, admittedly well beaten, but then got within 15 lengths of Final Demand at Limerick. It wasn’t long before Will The Wise broke his maiden tag as he won easily at Punchestown last month. He makes his handicap debut off 123, and with Conor Stone-Walsh taking a valuable 5 lbs off his back, he can take another step forward today and potentially book his place at the Cheltenham Festival.Selection: Will The WiseDanger: Waittillitellyou Bet on Will The Wise with talkSPORT BET Naas 4:20 William Hill Proper Prices (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race – 2m (4yo+)The bumper where SPINNINGAYARN won at Navan last month looks the standout piece of form here.Even though just under two lengths split the top three, it should be quite a good bumper to follow going forward.Joe Williamson takes off a valuable 7 lb here, making the task a bit easier, and Spinningayarn should follow up his debut win.Black Heather was well beaten behind the Champion Bumper hopeful Windbeneathmywings at Listowel in September, and he can make use of the experience he has gained in his five runs to change down the selection.Selection: SpinningayarnDanger: Black Heather Bet on Spinningayarn with Sky Bet Naas 4:50 Listed William Hill Best Odds Guaranteed Nas Na Riogh Novice Handicap Chase – 2m4fTheonewedreamof won eased down under Conor Stone-Walsh at Punchestown last time, but she has a tendency not to back up a good run. If she manages to do so here, she has to be feared, but her past exploits question whether she will.No Flies On Him is an interesting runner on handicap debut, but it is usually the second run where you follow the JP McManus handicap horse, so this looks like it may go the way of SHANNON ROYALE.Last seen being pulled up in the Thyestes Chase, Shannon Royale has a chance to bounce back to form here.He started his chase career with a short-head second to Sa Majeste before filling the same position behind the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase second favourite, Dancing City. Then he went on to get the better of High Class Hero, who himself has come on to win since. If he can leave his Thyestes blip behind him, Shannon Royale could take a lot of beating here.Selection: Shannon RoyaleDanger: No Flies On Him Bet on Shannon Royale with Paddy Power Naas 5:20 Grade 3 DAR Golf Newlands Chase – 2m (5yo+)This is as weak of a Grade 3 chase as you will find this season.Realistically, this revolves around the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1 placed, BLOOD DESTINY.Having run below par on his seasonal return, Blood Destiny is expected to get the job done here.He has a win over Spillanes Tower over this trip to call upon, and that form alone is miles clear of what any of his rivals have achieved. It will be a shock if he can’t get the job done today.Selection: Blood DestinyDanger: Rebel Gold Bet on Blood Destiny with Midnite About the authorAndrew HalliganMy name is Andrew Halligan, horse racing pundit and founder of YouTube’s The Finishing Line Podcast.
