Up until the moment the Nintendo Switch 2 is actually in players' hands, it's going to be a hotbed for speculation and rumors. Nintendo itself is expected to stay quiet until the planned Nintendo Direct in April before shedding any further light on its next-gen system. But one of Nintendo's ex-employees isn't bound by his former company's restrictions, and he's sharing his insight into Switch 2's pricing and its potential release window.The Kit & Krysta podcast recently welcomed a former Nintendo sales lead named Sean to the show. Although Sean did not disclose his last name during his appearance, he did stress that all of the "leaks" from retailers about Switch 2's price and release date are simply estimates or guesses. He noted that retailers rarely know when something is coming from Nintendo more than a week before the official announcement. However, Sean suggested the the rumored $400 price for Switch 2 may not be off base."I can't imagine it being too much more than $400… maybe $450 is the highest I can imagine," related Sean. He also suggested that Switch 2 may not include an OLED screen just to keep the price point down, but he didn't rule out a future Switch 2 model incorporating an OLED screen just as the first Switch did.Continue Reading at GameSpot
