The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has commenced insolvency proceedings against Ansal Properties and Infrastructure after failing to resolve a debt claim by IL&FS Financial Services. Ansal API was unable to repay loans totaling Rs. 257 crore. The tribunal ruled in favor of IL&FS, appointing Navneet Kumar Gupta as the interim resolution professional.
