A group of six students from St. Aloysius Collage have created Simplex, with the help of a JA (Junior Achievement) mini company.Their product is a wooden pill-popper designed to help the elderly and those with dexterity issues, to easily open blister packs. Since it shouldn’t be a struggle to pop a pill.The team behind Simplex wanted to create something that was both practical and environmentally friendly. Their pill-popper is made from recycled wood cut-offs, donated by Domestica Ltd and St. Michael Foundation.This is how it works.At just €7.99 per unit, it is a small yet great solution that prioritises accessibility.
