Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka State Law University (KSLU) C. Basavaraju said that students, along with developing their skill sets and imbibing social and moral values, should contribute towards nation building.Speaking at the 13th Graduation Day programme of KLE Society’s P.C. Jabin Science College in Hubballi on Saturday, Mr. Basavaraju underscored the need for the students to respond to the fast growing global economy by equipping themselves with the requisite skill sets.As learning was a continuous process, the students should develop the habit of engaging themselves in studies and research throughout their lives, he said emphasising the need for the students to involve themselves in research that would help in addressing the poverty and other social issues of the country. The youths also had a greater role to play in ensuring education to all, he said.Acting Vice-Chancellor of Karnatak University Jayashri S. called on students to develop a positive mindset to face the challenges in their lives. Director of KLE Society Shankaranna Munavalli presided over the programme. College principal L.D. Horakeri welcomed the gathering and briefed about the achievements of the autonomous institution. A host of academicians attended the graduation ceremony along with students and their parents.Meritorious students Chaitra S. Salagar, P. Varsha, A.N. Bhagyashri, Akshata B. Hubballi, Vidya S.
