The 24-year-old cut onto his left foot just outside of the Stoke 18-yard box before drilling a shot into the top-right corner. Norwich City would hang on for the home win as Sargent increased his goal tally to 11 goals on the campaign. With Ricardo Pepi, Folarin Balogun, and Haji Wright all sidelined through injuries, Sargent looks set to be the USMNT’s No. 1 striking option for March’s CONCACAF Nations League schedule.
