Bailey rose to prominence on the independent wrestling scene with his technical wrestling style.He joined TNA three years ago, becoming a three-time X-Divison Champion during his tenure. Additionally, he spent time in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2023. His TNA contract ran through the end of 2024, meaning he’d become a free agent at the start of the year. Multiple companies were reportedly interested in signing him, but AEW won the bid.AEW has taken the initiative to cultivate a roster of talent that sets it apart from the competition.
